In-stock Items

As a small company we only produce small quantities and so stock will be limited. Stock is allocated on a first come basis. The site will allocate the stock as orders are placed and the stock will decrement accordingly; the product will show as “Out of stock” when it has been sold.

Can I order a product before it is released?

Generally, we will not have products on the site that are not ready to be despatched when an order is placed. The exception to this rule will be when we are receiving new designs into stock and we know precisely when we can deliver these goods to you. We will list these products on the site with their expected delivery date and you may place an order. Your order will be despatched as soon as the goods come into stock.

 

Why do I have to register with Red Robot?

It is necessary to register your details with Red Robot before you can place an order. When you register you will select a user name and a password – and your details will be stored. Once you have registered, you will only need to enter your user id and password each time you wish to order from Red Robot.

 

How do I place an order?

Once you have entered items into your shopping basket, click the Checkout icon on the Shopping Basket on the right hand side of the page. You will be asked to log on if you are not already logged on, and then taken to the shipping and payments page. You can amend the shipping address at this point by clicking the “Amend Shipping Address” button. Select the payment type, which is either payment through Worldpay or by using a Red Robot Gift certificate. You will be taken to a page which summarises the order and delivery costs. You may enter a Gift Certificate or a money-off coupon at this stage. Finally, click “Place Order” and you will be taken to the WorldPay site where you will be required to enter your card details. Red Robot are not informed of, nor retains, your card payment details.

 

Can I change an order once it is placed?

Currently, once an order is placed it is difficult to change. Please email or fax Customer Services and we will try our best to accommodate your request. We cannot guarantee we will be able to change the order. You do however have seven days from the date of receipt to return the goods in their packaging.

 

Do you have and address book?

We currently do not offer an Address book facility, though this is something we are looking to rectify. Unfortunately, you will need to modify the shipping address each time you wish to send goods to addresses other than the billing address.

 

Can I make payments in currencies other than Pounds sterling (GBP)?

You may choose to pay in Pounds Sterling (GBP) or Euros when you are making payment via Worldpay, however we do not show Euro prices on the site. We have chosen not to display Euro prices throughout the site because our shopping cart is not dynamically linked to Worldpay for dual currencies, therefore there is the possibility that small differences may arise between any Euro price that we may quote and Worldpay Euro quote. Worldpay update their exchange rates daily; if you are paying with a Euro denominated credit / debit card and choose to pay in Euros the amount shown on Worldpay will be the amount that appears on your credit card statement.

 

What are your post & package costs?

All UK deliveries are FREE! All UK and Ireland orders will be delivered by Royal Mail and will take 2 – 5 working days; however, we cannot guarantee the delivery date.

We offer two postal options for overseas deliveries:

Slower but cheaper - up to 14 days delivery:
Europe (EU) - £4.50
Rest of the Planet - £7.50

Faster but not as cheap - delivered within 5 working days:
Europe (EU) - £30
Rest of the Planet - £50

 

Vat and local taxes

All the prices quoted on the website are inclusive of VAT. Orders delivered within the European Union are inclusive of VAT. Orders outside the European Union are exclusive of VAT. Please be advised that you may be liable to local taxes and import duty in your country when you receive your order.

 

How do I make a return?

Please log on to your Red Robot account on the site, click “Orders” and request a return for the relevant purchase. We will then authorise the return and issue you with a Return number. Please do not return your goods until you have been issued with the Return number as this may slow down your refund.

Please print a copy of the authorisation and return it with the goods. Please return the goods by registered mail or ensure you retain your receipt of posting which needs to show our postcode, just in case. You can obtain a receipt of posting from the Post Office when you return the goods. You have 21 days from the date of receipt in which to return products to Red Robot.

Please take care when trying on clothing you purchase from Red Robot. If clothing is returned in an unsatisfactory state we may not be able to accept your return. All returns will be at your expense.

We will refund your card within 30 days of acceptance of the return.

If Red Robot have made a mistake or sent faulty items you may return the goods, as above, stating whether you would like an exchange or a refund. We will issue an exchange or refund on the acceptance of the return. We will refund the cost of sending the goods back to Red Robot, if the error is on our part.

In addition to these policies above, you have the right to return goods under the Distance Selling Regulations for a period of seven days after the day of receipt for a refund; goods must be returned in their original condition and postal costs are at your expense. Refunds will be processed no later than 30 days from acceptance of the return.

Can my delivery be sent to a different address?

Yes, this can be done during the order process by clicking the “Amend Shipping Address” button when completing your order details.

 

How do I pay for my order using my Gift Certificates (vouchers)?

You will need to enter your specific Gift Certificate code during the ordering process. Once you have completed your shipping address details, select your Payment Method by clicking on "Use Red Robot Certificate". Then enter your code.

Gift certificates are issued by Red Robot and may only be redeemed at our Website, http://www.redrobot.co.uk, towards the purchase of products listed in Red Robot.co.uk's online catalogue sold by Red Robot Clothing. Gift certificates cannot be used to pay for Red Robot gift certificates. Gift certificates have a cash redemption value of 0.001p and are not transferable or assignable. Any unused balance will be placed in the recipient's gift certificate account. Gift certificates and unused portions of gift certificates expire one year from the date of issue. Red Robot may amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time and as is necessary by law. These terms and conditions are subject to and governed by the laws of England.

 

Do you offer any discounts?

From time to time we will have special offers available, and details of these will be on our website. Alternatively we may send you a newsletter informing you of any current offers. If you are interested in seeing our wholesale goods brochure, please get in touch with us on 0845 4590195.

 

How do I redeem my special offer/discount voucher?

You can redeem vouchers during the order process. Once you have clicked ‘Checkout’, you will be taken to ‘Place your order’ where you should enter your coupon details under ‘Redeem a discount’. Then click ‘Apply coupon’. Proceed with the rest of your order.

 

Competition Procedures and Rules

Red Robot Clothing Ltd undertakes that competitions and votes are conducted in a way that is honest, open, fair and legal. Winners of competitions and votes are genuine and never invented or pre-chosen. Every entry should have a fair chance of winning. We will not mislead entrants about the nature of a prize and prize winners will receive their prizes in reasonable time.

  • The Winner will be notified by email.
  • Only one entry per person.
  • No purchase necessary and no proof of purchase required.
  • The promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. There is no cash alternative and the prize is non-transferable.
  • Entrants must be 18 or over and live in the UK. Employees of Red Robot Clothing Ltd., their families and agencies, and anyone directly connected with the competition are not eligible to enter.
  • Prize is subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the promoter retains the right to offer an alternative prize of equal value.
  • Entry implies acceptance of these terms and conditions, which are legally binding.

Are all your products made from organic cotton?

We are trying to make all our products as low impact on the environment as possible, which is why our cotton is 100% organic. Sometimes, for some of our products, we have made the decision to go with materials which are longer lasting. The cotton we use is produced in Turkey and is certified organic through Skal International. You can visit them at www.skal.com.
