We had a fantastic day out in the park yesterday - it was our first ever Red Robot Photoshoot. It was a tad chilly for the wonderful models we had, Bruno, Ruth and Lauren but they did a sterling job. Photographer Ruth Richardson-Child was doing the snapping and generally directing all and sundry. Kasia Nowak ably assisted Ruth whilst Lou Rooth ensured the models looked their best.

There are some cool limited edition mens t-shirts on the site to kick things off; they pay homage to some great cult movies and classic albums. Reservoir Dogs, Donnie Darko, Memento and The Blair Witch Project all modern classics are re-introduced by Red Robot. Joy Division's seminal Unknown Pleasures via Muse's Absolution and Gorillaz's Demon Days to the Arctic Monkeys, take you bang up to date on the music side of things.

 

All the t-shirts are high quality organic cotton and so you can feel good wearing them - they are soft and longlasting and will only get better with time.

 

We want you to get behind Red Robot as there are loads of ideas that we would like to get going for you and we can only do this with your support. We are launching a photo competition, as soon as possible, so that you can send us your favorite photographs and we can show them on the site for you. It doesn't matter if you are using an old kodak brownie or a modern all singing all dancing gadget - just shoot what captures the moment for you and send it in.

 

We also have a Red Robot newsletter, so it would be great if you and your mates could sign up for it - it will come out every two months and will keep you up to speed with what's happening - we will keep it pretty loose to begin with so that we can get your views on the content and if you don't like things, we will change them around. All Red Robot's new designs will be shown exclusively here first - we will see if our technos can make it possible for you to preorder directly from the Red Robot newsletter. We have some new designs underway and the place to see them first will be the first Red Robot newsletter out mid April - so sign up and be ahead of the game for Spring / Summer 08.
